Prague is rightfully considered one of the most romantic cities in the world. As a wedding photographer who travels the globe with my clients, I always love returning to Prague. Its historic cobblestone streets and breathtaking gardens have a unique charm that looks simply divine on camera.

If you are currently planning your big day and looking for a venue that will highlight the beauty of your wedding dress, I’ve curated a selection of the 10 best Prague locations for you.

1. Vrtba Garden (Malá Strana)

This Baroque gem is a photographer's dream come true. The cascading terraces offer one of the most beautiful views of Prague Castle.

  • Capacity: Approx. 60 people (interior), the garden can hold more.

  • Accommodation: No.

  • Catering: Must be arranged externally.

  • Estimated Price: Rental for the ceremony ranges from 15,000 to 30,000 CZK.

The only privately owned palace within the Prague Castle complex. If you want a wedding fit for a queen, this is the place.

Artisème Garden is a unique venue for your wedding, celebration or any social event. Its unique location right in the heart of Prague is easily accessible for your guests and suppliers. Even though you will be right in the historical center, we can guarantee that you will feel like you have escaped the city into an oasis of peace.

8. Villa Richter & St. Wenceslas Vineyard (Prague Castle)

There is nothing quite like a wedding in the middle of a vineyard right beneath the walls of Prague Castle. Villa Richter offers a classicist elegance with some of the most sought-after views in the city. It is a dream location for high-end celebrations.

  • Capacity: Up to 130 seated (Piano Terra) or 90 (Piano Nobile).

  • Accommodation: No (but many luxury hotels are nearby).

  • Catering: Exceptional in-house gastronomy and wine cellar.

9. Brevnov Monastery (Brevnov)
